Fairtrade is growing by 27% in 2010 in Germany

The products were sold last year with the Fairtrade stamp worth around 340 million euros. That equates to a growth of 27%. Germany has more than 180 dealers offering Fairtrade products in over 30,000 supermarkets, natural food shops and stores of the World, as well as some 18,000 dining establishments. One of the favorite fair trade products is coffee, whose sales grew in 2010 about 26%, exceeding the 7,200 tons of coffee beans. The fastest growth in the consumer market outside the home, with an increase of 49%. Juice demand rose 18% to almost 7 million liters in textiles sold 2.6 million units, an increase of 29%.

There was also demand for trade Fairtrade roses, growing 10% compared to 2009. Its market share is around 2.4% more than 72 million stems.
