The Producer Association which uses the Agro industrial Development Program in the Northern Area of Costa Rica, ASOPROAGROIN, groups together small and medium producers of orange and pineapple in the Guanacaste region. The PROAGROIN Foundation offers them technical assistance, certification (Euregap and 'Fairtrade') and exportation services.
ECOMERCADOS is working with the PROAGROIN Foundation through the Competitive Fund on topics regarding promotion, business trips and market studies. Additionally, PROAGROIN’s participation in Biofach 2006 was co-sponsored.
