APPTA is an small producers asociation founded in 1987. Actually, we are counting with the participation of 1067 people, 80% are indigenous groups and Bribris cabécares, and 20% blacks and whites. Woman represent the 38% of the total membership of the association. We are working in the South Caribbean of Costa Rica, in the rich región of Talamanca.
